Early / Absentee Voting
There are two ways you can early/absentee vote in Maine.
1. Request a ballot online to be mailed to you (click here).
2. Visit the Lewiston City Clerk’s office (2nd floor of City Hall) and complete a Ballot Request Form.
Early/Absentee voting starts approximately one month before election day, and ends the Thursday before election day. This does not apply to May elections, or the December mayoral run-off, which are instead two weeks in advance through the Thursday before.
